- I started my teaching career at Jefferson Elementary teaching Kindergarten. That year was full of numbers, shapes and naps. The three years following were spend in 5th grade. Needless to say, nap time was no longer a part of my day...unless you count free reading! Last year, I had the opportunity to become the Literacy Coach for Lincoln and Washington Schools. This was a great learning experience and I learned a lot. I am happy to be back in 5th grade and am looking forward to a great year!
